Jaume Mercade Queralt (1889-1967), also known as Jaume Mercade, was a Catalan painter and goldsmith. A disciple of Francesc d'Assis Gali, from 1919 he taught jewellery and goldsmithing at the School of Arts and Crafts of the Mancomunitat. His first solo exhibition of paintings was held in 1916 at the Galerias Laietanes in Barcelona, and was later recognised for his talents at various of the 20th century International exhibitions including Paris in 1925.
